How can you eliminate whether an ignition switch is the reason a '98 Dodge Caravan will not start?
Starter turns if it gets power DIRECTLY but doesn't get any power otherwise.. However the relay seems to check out ok. So does the neutral safety switch on the transmission. Any step by step way to make sure it's not the ignition switch without getting a new one?
if you have tested every other link in that circuit and the starter still does not work, then the switch is bad, you could pull the wires off of the switch and run a wire across the battery and the ignition contacts and see if the starter engages. if the battery is good, then that is the last thing.
