Take Flights to Chicago U.S.A This Summer and Watch Chicago Air and Water Show!
The Chicago Air & Water Show on Lincoln Park's lakefront Chicago presents two fun-packed days of spectacular air and watercraft demonstrations. This spectacular showdraws millions of people through flights to Chicago U.S.A each year to the lakefront, contributing significantly to tourism and economic development for Chicago. This show is the oldest and free show of its kind in United States. He displays take place at the edge of the lake. Over the past many years, the show has become a summer tradition featuring aviation's top military and civilian pilots. Would the Blue Angels be a lethal flight squadron?
I know they practice incredible aerobatic stunts, but would they really be lethal in combat? Say, all six of the Blue Angels versus 18 MIG's?
The Blue Angels are an acrobatic team. They fly in tight formation ond practice maneuvers that are spectacular to watch. they are trained as Naval Aviators and possess a great deal of competence in tactical flying (which is a lot different than aerobatics).
They would probably get it handed to them in an embarrassing fashion by 18 MiGs. These guys know their routine inside and out. In fact, they have all been doing the exact same flight routine for many years. I'd take 6 regular Navy guys flying the F-18 over the Blue Angels any day. Real combat experience isn't gained by practicing Immelmans and Cuban 8's all day.
